Dog Agility Training in Surrey

Contrary to popular belief, agility training is not just for border collies. Dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds can enjoy the exercise, exhilaration and mental stimulation of navigating the obstacles within an agility course. Furthermore, the challenges involved with effectively controlling and guiding a dog through an agility course helps form a strong bond between dog and handler. Even if you do not plan on competing, dogs trained in agility will generally be much more obedient and better behaved.

Dog School can help you train your dog to a high level in agility. The school is fully equipped with comprehensive agility equipment, and we can teach your dog to jump through hoops, run through tunnels, cross bridges, jump on tables, scale various heights and weave between poles. Our agility course is outdoors, in a secure field, and we run programs every weekend throughout the year.

As there will be a lot of off-lead work involved, all dogs must already have achieved a reasonable standard of control. Your dog must also be good at the recall.
